The Office of Diversity and Inclusion presents the movie If Beale Street Could Talk (2018) in honor of Black History Month.
As part of World Interfaith Harmony Week, Marietta College will feature a free screening of the film Holy Envy: Finding God in the Faith of Others at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8th, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. The event is free and open to the public.
Marietta College's Career Center, Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Education Abroad are excited to host two mini-sessions on Tuesday, January 28th, that will help students understand more about fellowships and the necessary steps to give yourself the best opportunity to earn one of the many prestigious national or international awards.
The Offices of Diversity and Inclusion and Education Abroad proudly present "A Night with Dr. Joseph Sebarenzi," in honor of International Human Rights Day, at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. There will be a meet and greet with light refreshments at 5:30 p.m. in the McDonough Gallery.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will be hosting an open discussion about Marietta College's preferred name policy in The Great Room (Andrews 203) from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 30th. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to come and share their thoughts and experiences with preferred name policy (or policies).
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is excited to present "The Last of the Mohicans" in honor of National Native American Heritage Month at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 22nd. This film screening will take place in the Multicultural Center. Light refreshments will be served, and a short discussion will follow the film.
All are invited to a workshop by visiting the Brazilian music group, Bateria C7, from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 16th, in the Hermann Fine Arts Center Atrium. This is an opportunity to learn more about the group's instruments and you can even make your own instrument.
