Revolutions on the Nines

Through a collaboration of Marietta College's History Department and the Jazz Combo, a live musical performance and conversation — Revolutions on the Nines — will take place at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23rd, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. The night will feature transformative music, events, and musical events of 1929, 1959, and 1969.

‘Driven Toward Madness’ author to speak at Marietta College on Jan. 31

Ohio native Nikki M. Taylor, Professor of History at Howard University, will talk about her most recent book Driven Toward Madness: The Fugitive Slave Margaret Garner and Tragedy on the Ohio, at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31st. Her presentation will be held at the Timothy O. Cooper Auditorium (Thomas 124).
