If you've developed talents in theatre, you ay be eligible for a Talent Scholarship at Marietta College, regardless of your intended major.
Total Awards of $4,000 to $20,000
possible over four years.
($1,000 to $5,000 per year)
Talent Scholarships are open to incoming first-year and transfer students. Each incoming student can apply for only one Marietta College talent scholarship across the departments of art, music, theatre and dance.
These awards require:
- Continuous enrollment as a full-time student and satisfactory progress toward a degree
- Participation in one theatre production each semester
- Successful completion of one of the following classes during your first year of enrollment:
- Theatre 106 (Acting I)
- Theatre 210 (Backstage Experience)
- Dance 110 (Dance for Theatre)

Theatre Application Requirements
Priority is given to students who apply and complete their audition for a Theatre Talent Scholarship by January 23, 2027. Recipients of Talent Scholarships eligible for need-based assistance will receive a financial aid award incorporating the amount of the scholarship.
