Step Three: Making Marietta College Home

Residential Students

Living on campus can be one of the most rewarding aspects of the college experience. As a residential community, we develop our distinctive ethos, our dedication to the whole student, and affirm the independence between life inside and outside of the classroom.

Log into the Residence website to fill out your application for housing (available April 1). Before accessing the Residence Portal, you must wait 24 hours after your MyMarietta account is created. The Office of Community Living uses the information you provide to make housing assignments and identify a potential roommate(s) for the 2023-2024 academic year.

To access Residence:

To see what you should bring to campus, read the What to Bring page

Please call the Office of Student Life at 740.376.4784 if you have any questions.

Commuter Students

If you plan to commute to Marietta College, you do not have to complete the above form. Please complete the Commuter Application and send it to the Office of Community Living at ocl@marietta.edu.

If you are still trying to decide between living on campus and commuting, we would love to walk you through your options! Please call the Office of Admission at 740.376.4600 or the Office of Community Living at 740.376.4784 – we are happy to help!

Step Six: Financing Your Future at Marietta College

Marietta College Billing, Payment Options, and Related Information:

Bills are issued each semester. You will receive an email notification through your Marietta College email address that a billing statement is available. You can grant others access to view your bill, make online payments, or enroll in a payment plan by setting them up as an Authorized User.

The Student Accounts website provides instructions for setting up an Authorized User. If you do not add an Authorized User to your student account, you will be the only person who can receive eBills and make online payments to your account.

Marietta College offers the Pioneer Four Payment Plan, which allows you to make 4 payments per semester with no enrollment fee. Twenty-five percent of the balance is due at the time of enrollment, followed by 3 monthly installments. Online enrollment is available when the semester eBills are uploaded, and Student Account Representatives are available to assist you and your family with setting up a payment plan.

Contact the Office of Student Accounts at 740.376.4619 or www.marietta.edu/payment-options.

Step Seven: Purchase Your Books

Once you’ve registered for classes, you can purchase your textbooks and other course materials using Marietta College’s eCampus Bookstore.

This is an online bookstore, and no physical bookstore exists on campus, so you’ll need to use eCampus or another online vendor to purchase your textbooks and course materials.

You can have your textbooks and course materials delivered to your home address (make sure deliveries are scheduled to arrive prior to your departure for campus). Alternatively, you can have your purchases delivered to campus and pick them up when you arrive. If you order your items from eCampus and have them shipped to campus rather than your home address, they’ll be available for pick-up in the Pioneer Team Store in upper Gilman. If you order items from another vendor and have them shipped to campus rather than a home address, they will be available for pick-up through the College’s Mailroom in upper Gilman.

To purchase textbooks and course materials through Marietta College’s eCampus Bookstore, you’ll need to have your course schedule in front of you.
To find your course schedule:

  • Login to MyMarietta using your MC credentials (username and password).
  • Select ‘WebAdvisor for Students’ on the left side of the page.
  • Select ‘Academic Profile’ and then ‘My class schedule.’
  • Under the ‘Term’ drop-down menu, select the appropriate semester and hit ‘Submit.’

With your class schedule in front of you, go to the Marietta College eCampus Bookstore website.

To purchase your books:

  • Use the ‘Textbooks’ drop-down menu on the upper left side of the page to select ‘Order.’
  • Use the drop-down menu in the top center of the page to select the appropriate term (e.g., Fall 2023).
  • Use your course schedule to enter the Department, Course, and Section for each of your classes.
  • Click the ‘Find Materials for Course(s)’ button at the bottom of the page.
  • For each item, select your preferred purchasing option.
  • Proceed to checkout.
