The Honorary Advisory Council (HAC) was established to guide the Department of Business & Economics (B&E) in matters related to curriculum, internships, and related issues. Members have diverse experience in academe, government and industry positions.

Objectives of the Honorary Advisory Council

  • Provides a means for the B&E faculty to learn about the skills expected of B&E graduates that are either hired into the private or public sectors or are recruited by graduate programs to continue their education.
  • Offers guidance and advice to develop and continually improve a curriculum that allows students to succeed in a dynamic business and academic environment after graduation.
  • Provides or assists the Department in obtaining necessary financial or intellectual resources.
  • Serves as a resource for B&E students seeking internships or permanent positions.
