Events Calendar

Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. February through December. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings around town. 

Join the Biology and Health Science department in celebrating our fall semester. We will grill hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs. Faculty will also bring side dishes and desserts to share. Any student taking a biology class is welcome to attend.

Marietta College's Men's and Women's Cross Country Team travels to race in Marshall University's Thundering Herd Invitational on September4, 2026. Women's start time is 6:00 p.m. followed by the men at 6:30 p.m. The races will take place at the Kennedy Center YMCA, Huntington, WV.

Marietta College's Volleyball Team will play the Tartans of Carnegie Mellon University for their 2nd game of day one at the Mount Union Invitational on Friday, September 4, 2026. This match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in Mount Union's Sweeney Gymnasium.

Join Marietta College in the Washington County Fair Parade. Saturday, Sept 5 | Line up by 9:15 a.m. on Ohio Street (by the Ohio River, behind Don Drumm Stadium).

Marietta College's Men's Golf Team travels to paly in the Wooster Gatorade Collegiate for a 2-day event on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2026. Tee times are TBA at the Zoar Village Golf Course in Dover, OH.
