Student/staff/faculty delegations are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements (see information below).

2020 Conference Theme: “Exploring the Leader-Follower Relationship”

Leadership is not about the leader. When conceptualized as a process that brings together leaders and followers in the pursuit of a common goal, Leadership gains a deeper dimension that also includes the dynamic between Leaders and Followers. For the 2020 leadership conference, we seek to explore the many facets of the Leader-Follower relationship. Possible topics to be explored include the role of power, ethical challenges, followership, the cultural context of the leader-follower relationship, to name a few. In the spirit of sharing knowledge, best practices, and enriching students' lives from diverse institutional backgrounds, we invite undergraduate and graduate students, staff, and faculty to consider submitting a proposal for possible presentation at the 2020 McDonough Leadership Conference at Marietta College in Ohio.

Call for Proposals: We are now accepting proposals for possible presentation at the conference. We are considering three types of proposals:

  1. Undergraduate/graduate student presentations (individual student's presentation proposal);
  2. Undergraduate/graduate student panels (proposed by faculty/staff);
  3. Faculty/staff roundtables.

To submit a proposal, please fill out the online Conference Proposal Submission Form.

Deadline to submit a proposal: Friday, January 10, 2020.
