Marietta College will be hosting Michael Garriga as its inaugural Carol L. Lucas ’70 Visiting Author. Garriga will be giving a public reading at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, February 28th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium with a question and answer session following his work.

Returning to Ashtabula was not something Mattie Stowell ’14 was looking to do.
Still, after graduating from Ohio State’s College of Dentistry in 2018, Stowell immediately found herself back at a place that she was very familiar with, her hometown dental office, Ashtabula Dental Associates.

Marjorie Margolies, a former journalist and Democratic politician from Pennsylvania, will visit Marietta College from April 1-5 as a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow. She'll be making a keynote address at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 5th, in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
