For two hours on Friday, September 14th, Marietta College’s Hermann Fine Arts Center will be the hippest place in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Talented musicians and dancers will highlight the 38th season of the Esbenshade Series at Marietta College, which features four performances that are free and open to the public at the Peoples Bank Theatre starting on Sunday, Sept. 16.
Floodstage, Marietta College’s contemporary a cappella ensemble, recently released its video performance of Sia’s “Titanium.”
Marietta College’s Rylie Wahl ’19 (Grove City, Ohio) has recently been selected as a Fellow for the 2018 Zhi-Xing China: China-U.S. University Student Leaders Academy, which will take place in China between July 29-Aug. 18.
Marietta College’s Edward E. MacTaggart Department of Music inducted three student-musicians into Mu Psi Kappa, a national music honorary, on Thursday, April 26.
This is just the second class to be inducted into this honorary at Marietta College, as last year was the first year the honorary had a chapter on campus.
Three Marietta College seniors were inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa society, which was established in 1860 at the College, during a ceremony that was held in the Betty Cleland Room on Monday, April 30.
Marietta College’s Edward E. MacTaggart Department of Music is combining all campus choirs, including the Oratorio Chorus, to perform Duruflé Requiem at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 27th.
The performance, which is free and open to the public, is at the First Baptist Church, corner of Fourth of Putnam streets.
During Marietta College’s annual Juried Student Art Exhibition opening reception, the Art Department announced multiple awards including France Moise ’20 (Naples, Florida) as Best in Show.
Moise, who is majoring in both Psychology and Studio Art, won for her oil on canvas, “Nueve Once.”
Marietta College’s Department of English & Modern Languages recently inducted six students into Sigma Tau Delta and one student into Sigma Delta Pi as part of a larger awards program on April 3 in the Prince Forum.
