Once an application is completed and verified through CASPA, it is reviewed by the Admissions Coordinator for completeness with preliminary scoring. It is then forwarded to Admission Committee members for final application review, scoring, and interview determination.

  • Interviews are conducted June-February for each cycle.
  • All interviews are conducted in-person at Marietta College. Interview days consist of two small group interviews, student panel Q and A session, campus tour, and brief essay component.
  • Applicants who would like to be considered for "early" interviews (June–September) must have their CASPA application completed and verified on or before July 15 of the application year.

Offers of admission will be extended within 1 (one) week after each interview day and are based on an evaluation of the following factors:

  • CASPA application and interview
  • Knowledge of PA profession
  • Understanding of Program Expectations and Rigor of Training
  • Ethical/Moral Character
  • Self-Insight/Awareness
  • Personality
  • Mental Stamina and Support System
  • Professionalism
  • Overall Perception and ability to succeed in the Marietta College Physician Assistant Program

Final acceptance will depend on the results of the following:

    • This fee will not be refunded for students who withdraw from the Program
