Dr. Chen Zhao, Senior Economist at Redfin, will speak at the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley at noon, Tuesday, November 7. She will speak about “The U.S. Housing Market and the Current Interest Rate Cycle” at the Blennerhassett Hotel in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Zhao leads the economics research team at Redfin, and she produces research on the housing market for public and internal audiences. Previously, Zhao held executive roles at the JPMorgan Chase Institute and Analysis Group. She has also conducted economic research at the U.S. Census Bureau and started her career at the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
Zhao earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University and her undergraduate degree from MIT.
