Marietta College senior Bailey Miller ’24 (Belpre, Ohio) has been awarded the Michael Late Benedum Chapter (MLBC) Scholarship for her exceptional leadership and commitment to the land and energy industry.
Miller, a Land & Energy Management major, tied for first place out of the applicants. The scholarship recognizes her active involvement with professional organizations like MLBC and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
As president of the Marietta College Landman Association, Miller has gained valuable connections through networking events and mentors in the field. She recently completed an internship with EQT Corporation and is currently interning locally with Attorney Nancy E. Brum.
“I’m extremely grateful for the guidance and support from MC’s faculty that has opened up these opportunities,” Miller said. “The scholarship reaffirms that I’ve chosen the right career path.”
Miller is the President of the Marietta College Landman Association and the current Student Leadership Council Representative for Marietta College for the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Marietta College’s Land & Energy Management program is just one of the ways it prepares leaders in the energy sector. The College also has one of the nation’s top Petroleum Engineering programs and outstanding opportunities in Geology and Environmental Engineering.
