Marietta College will be hosting a commemoration event featuring memorial yard signs honoring regional individuals lost during or as a result of 9/11, along with thousands of small American flags displayed across campus in remembrance. Veterans, students, civic leaders, educators, and community members are invited to gather for a time of reflection, gratitude, and service. Hands-on activities will include writing thank-you cards to active-duty military personnel and assembling care packages for local mental health and homeless-serving organizations.
