Downtown First Friday events take place the first Friday of every month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. February through December. Highlights of these events include shops open late, local artists and musicians, area organizations, and various happenings around town.

Marietta College's Anderson Hancock Planetarium will be showing Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon, 50 Years in a Heartbeat. On Saturday, August 15, 2026 there will 4 shows: 3:00 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Registration link is above.

Marietta College's Men's Soccer Team opens there 2027 season with a home match against the Golden Tornadoes of Geneva College on Saturday, September 1, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on the blue turf of Marietta Field.

Marietta College's Volleyball Team opens their 2026 season by traveling to play the Big Reds of Denison University on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. in Livingston Gymnasium.
