Marietta College is excited to offer a free, public showing of “Sunstruck” at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21st, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium.
Travel back to the beginning of time and experience the birth of the Sun. Discover how it came to support life, how it threatens life as we know it, and how its energy will one day fade away. This planetarium show was funded by NASA.
Each public show includes a live presentation about the current night sky, followed by the full-dome planetarium video and a Q&A period. Donations are welcome, however educational experiences in our planetarium are free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
