Earning a minor in coaching is an excellent way to add value to your Marietta College bachelor’s degree. By earning a minor in coaching you will be equipped with outstanding career skills to enhance a teaching credential or to become involved in a municipal recreational program. The Coaching Minor

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Study not only sports but also the care and prevention of athletic injuries, sports law, nutrition and the psychology of sports.
- Gain field experience coaching athletes during an internship
- Learn the art of coaching within Marietta's state-of-the-art athletic facilities, including the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center with a varsity basketball and volleyball court, indoor tennis, weight rooms, racquetball courts and an indoor track. You may also get the chance to work at Don Drumm Field (football and men's lacrosse), Pioneer Park (baseball), Marietta Field (soccer and women's lacrosse), or the Lindamood-Van Voorhis Boathouse (rowing).
