Come join Student Life and the Washington County Behavioral Health Board as we celebrate 988 Day on Monday, 9/8 on the Christy Mall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The 2025 theme is “Compassionate Help. Anytime. Anywhere.” This theme conveys the heart of what 988 is all about – empathy, accessibility, and reliability. 988 Day highlights how communities, organizations, and people supporting mental health are creating positive buzz around 988 in their own fun and creative ways to raise awareness across the United States.
988 is the national mental health hotline that’s available 24/7 across the U.S by text, phone, and chat. You can reach out for any reason: when you’re struggling with your mental health, feeling overwhelmed by schoolwork, or just need someone to vent to.
