On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Marietta College will celebrate the reopening of the upgraded Anderson Hancock Planetarium. A Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m., followed by a community open house. Visitors are invited to view programs showcasing the planetarium’s new capabilities, with shows running every 30 minutes until 4 p.m.
