Professor Thomas currently teaches courses in petroleum engineering, petrophysics, land management and leasing, oil and gas law, and legal environment for business. She is a licensed attorney and petroleum engineer with over 30 years of diversified experience in engineering and legal work, representing various perspectives from major producers to the small consumer, as well as a non-profit research organization and an industry think tank.
