Marietta College’s Public Service Leadership Academy was created to foster such leadership.
The Academy provides innovative, tailored trainings that highlight the values and culture of ethical leadership, effective public service, and community-oriented problem-solving that underpin the co-founding organizations, the Marietta College Police Department and the McDonough Center for Leadership.
Public Service Organizations
The Academy's forward-leaning perspective is dedicated to enhancing access to training opportunities that foster leadership capabilities and help to prepare public servants in a number of public service organizations to help member be agents of change in their communities through public service leadership, including:

Good leaders foster supportive atmospheres and encourage creative approaches to problem-solving. They communicate effectively and efficiently to build trust from stakeholders. The Public Service Leadership Academy goals are to support good leaders by:
