Biography

As the Associate Dean of Students, Amanda serves as the Director of New Student Onboarding and Transition Programs, providing oversight and direction to new student on-boarding programming, community building and engagement, the PIO 102 course. Amanda also serves as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator, working primarily with complaints involving students to ensure both education and compliance with federal mandates as well as working to cultivate a campus community free of gender-based violence and discrimination.

Amanda came to Marietta College in 2010 from the University of Maine, where she received her master's degree in Student Development in Higher Education. While at the University of Maine, Amanda worked in student conduct and substance abuse education and interned for the National Collaborative for Hazing Research and Prevention.
