As it became clear that students would not be returning to colleges and universities across the U.S. amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Marietta College quickly adapted and classes are running fairly smoothly.
McCoy Professor of Psychology Dr. Mark Sibicky uses a unique analogy when it comes to his research.
“I think of it in terms of a parade. I always want to be in the parade, and I know I won’t be at the front of it, but at least I’m not standing on the sidewalk watching it go by,” he said.
Ross Keller ’20 (Long Bottom, Ohio) is busy finishing up his last semester at Marietta College. On top of looking for a job and deciding if he should go to law school or earn an MBA, Keller can add one more thing to his résumé.
Five Belpre High School students recently won the first round of Junior PioBiz, a business-idea competition hosted by Marietta College and open to all high school students in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
Marietta College’s Edward E. MacTaggart Department of Music recently learned it had achieved a 10-year reaccreditation of its programs, which include bachelor’s degrees in Music, Music Education, Music Therapy and Vocal Performance.
