Branden joined Marietta College in 2014 as the Community Coordinator for McCoy Hall and Campus Housing Officer, where he was then promoted to Assistant Director of Upperclass Housing. During his time in Student Life he served as Co-chair of the LGBTQ+ task force; co-facilitated SafeZone trainings across campus; and developed and presented in-person training for bystander intervention, reporting, and education for campus and community resources. In 2016, he joined the faculty in the Department of Communication as visiting professor of communication.
In 2019, he joined the Career Center to serve as the Student Career Services Specialist. He provides one-on-one advising across a broad range of career interests and industry areas, covering topics including career exploration, internships, experiential learning opportunities, post-graduation employment, and graduate school planning in both individual and group settings. He also teaches the career development courses for the department focused on the intersection of identity and career development.
