Biography

Brittanie Clair originates from Northeastern Ohio, right next to Lake Erie in Mentor, Ohio. She's a very passionate Cleveland Browns football fan, but also enjoys watching other NFL teams like the Cincinnati Bengals (except for when they face the Browns), the Dallas Cowboys, and the Detroit Lions. When in high school, she often wrote poetry, most of which was spoken word. You will likely see Brittanie at many events, such as sporting events, Resident Assistant programs, or any other fun activities a department may be putting on. As long as these activities are outside, you will likely meet her dog, Scarlett, who is a Shepherd mix.

Brittanie joined the staff of Marietta College in August of 2022 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education Studies from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio. During her time at Wilmington, she received a number of awards and recognition for her work as a student leader. These awards include the Quaker Impact Award, awarded to students who embody the Quaker values of the College, the Student Government Association Distinguished Service Award for her exemplary service as Student Body President, and additional awards recognizing her active service to Wilmington’s campus. Her involvement at her alma mater helped her to realize her passion for higher education and students.
