Your ticket will include dinner and desserts, an educational presentation on skin burns and burn victims presented by the hosts and the founder of the organization, games, a silent auction, and networking opportunities.

The theme is March Madness, and we invite you to come dressed in your favorite basketball team's apparel. We will be hosting games to compete for the March Madness title. If you choose to participate, list the names of everyone on your team and what team you are repping in the Google Doc.

This event is organized by second-year PA students Savannah Amato, Emma Arnold, and Brittney Tyson. Their goal for this event is to educate the public on living conditions in underdeveloped countries such as Malawi, Africa, and the consequences of using fire in their daily lives. Burns, burn victims, and burn prevention are pertinent subjects to be addressed in order to educate community members on the importance of gaining awareness, and doing what we can with modern medicine to alleviate injuries and deaths in this population. Medical resources and healthcare needed for treatment and life-saving procedures are limited. Their goal is to provide funds for supplies for the prevention, treatment, and life-changing surgeries.

This program was founded by Jennifer Wall in 2006 to provide education, skills training, collection of data, research, and prevention of burns in Malawi, Africa.
