The Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy prepares each student to teach applied vocal lessons. Through the required practicum component, students begin teaching young singers in a supervised setting. This unique program provides a valuable and more focused opportunity for vocal students to prepare the skills necessary to begin a primary or supplemental career as a vocal instructor. Students completing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance or a Bachelor of Music in Music Education are encouraged to pursue the certificate.
