Marietta College is excited to work closely with Washington State Community College to offer the WSCC2MC transfer program. The program is designed for students who want to start their college experience at Washington State Community College and stay local by transferring to Marietta College to complete a four-year degree.

Application Process

Eligibility

Residents of Ohio, as well as reciprocity counties in West Virginia, are eligible to apply to the WSCC2MC program. Students should apply to the WSCC2MC program before starting classes at Washington State Community College or within their first 25 transferable credit hours at WSCC. Students with more than 25 transferable college credits may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students cannot participate in the WSCC2MC students as College Credit Plus students.

Acceptance to the WSCC2MC program will be determined by Marietta College’s Office of Admission based on a review of the student’s application, transcript(s), and test scores.

Apply

All students, regardless of their current enrollment status at Washington State, need to complete the WSCC2MC application to be considered. This application will serve as the official application to both colleges. To apply, simply print the free application and submit to Marietta College’s Office of Admission by mail to 215 Fifth Street, Marietta, Ohio or via email to admit@marietta.edu. Official transcripts and test scores must also be submitted to Marietta College to complete the application. While there is no deadline for submitting a WSCC2MC application, you are encouraged to apply before accumulating 25 transferable credit hours.

Maintaining Dual Admission

Once accepted to the WSCC2MC program, you must complete a minimum of 25 transferable credits at Washington State with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required in all Marietta College courses taken as part of the WSCC2MC program.
