On Thursday, February 12, 2026, Pioneers across the globe will unite for Marietta College’s 10th Annual Day of Giving, celebrating a decade of generosity, connection, Pioneer Pride, and the enduring legacy of the Long Blue Line. Observed on Founders Day, this day honors the traditions that built Marietta College and the collective spirit that continues to move it forward.
For 24 hours, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends will come together with a shared purpose: supporting today’s Pioneers and strengthening the Marietta experience for generations to come. Every gift, every story, and every connection shape the future of our extraordinary institution.
10 Friends. 10 Gifts. 10 Years Strong.
In honor of its 10th anniversary, Day of Giving 2026 invites Pioneers to take part in the 10.10.10 movement: a simple but powerful initiative to spark momentum and connection across the Marietta College community.
Getting involved is easy:
- Make a gift of any amount on Thursday, February 12.
- Invite 10 people who were part of your Marietta journey, from roommates and teammates to classmates and fraternity or sorority brothers or sisters, to join you in giving.
- Finally, share why #MCGives on your social networks.
Together, these small actions fuel the collective spirit that has defined Marietta College from the beginning, and that has defined Day of Giving for a decade. Every gift. Every Pioneer. Every year, stronger than the last.
The Marietta Fund: Turning Generosity into Impact
At the heart of Day of Giving is The Marietta Fund, which creates immediate and lasting impact by providing vital, flexible support for Marietta College students and the community. Support of The Marietta Fund strengthens access to transformative academic, athletic, and experiential learning opportunities for today’s Pioneers and those of tomorrow.
Gifts to The Marietta Fund allow the College to respond to evolving needs, strengthen programs, and provide critical resources that enhance the student experience. Donors may also choose to direct their gift to specific areas or affinities meaningful to them, ensuring each generous contribution reflects personal connection and purpose.

Each gift—no matter the size—brings Marietta one step closer to unlocking the Trustee Challenge. Once 1,000 Pioneers make a gift on February 12, additional leadership support from Marietta College’s Board of Trustees will be activated, amplifying the impact of each contribution.
Participation is what powers Day of Giving. When Pioneers come together in support of Marietta, generosity multiplies and impact reaches far beyond a single day.
Expanded Ways to Give
Day of Giving makes it easy to support Marietta College in the way that works best for you. In addition to giving through our secure online giving form, donors can choose from several convenient options to participate on February 12.
Supporters may make a gift using convenient mobile app integrations such as Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App, or give through DAFpay. Donors may also contribute using credit or debit cards, bank transfer (ACH), or mobile-supported payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. No matter how you choose to give, each gift expands opportunities and advances Marietta’s tradition of excellence.

Day of Giving F.A.Q.
What is the Day of Giving?
Our Day of Giving is an online celebration and fundraising event. Alumni, friends, staff, faculty, and even students come together to make a gift of $5 or more in support of Marietta College.
When can I give?
Day of Giving starts at midnight Eastern on Thursday, February 12, 2026, and concludes at 11:59 p.m.
What is our goal?
While generous gifts are always appreciated, our primary goal is to have 1,000 Pioneers make a gift of any size.
Are Day of Giving contributions tax-deductible?
Yes! All contributions made during Day of Giving are tax-deductible. Donors will receive an email confirmation serving as a receipt for tax purposes.
Where do contributions go?
That's up to you! We encourage you to make a gift to The Marietta Fund, which allows the College to address areas of greatest need. This can include providing additional student aid, updating technology for classrooms, renovating athletic facilities, underwriting research and internships, and more. You can direct your gift to one of the four areas we will highlight during the campaign, or designate your gift to the team or program you love the most by choosing "other" as your designation and indicating where you would like your contribution to go.
Why should I participate?
When Pioneers pool their resources, we can make more possible for students together. By giving back to the College, you are making a profound difference in the lives of today’s Pioneers. Your gift – of any amount – helps strengthen academics, expand learning opportunities, sustain athletics, and provide crucial financial aid.
Are there other ways I can get involved?
Absolutely! Do you have a few minutes and access to a phone or computer? You can volunteer as a Day of Giving Champion for MC, reaching out to friends and classmates to encourage them to join you in giving and inviting others. Want to leverage your own gift to encourage others? You can set up a personal challenge to match gifts from your classmates, Greek brothers or sisters, teammates, or another list that you provide. You can even help build awareness leading up to the day by sharing what you love most about Marietta by using the hashtags #MCgives, #MakeMorePossible, or #PioneerProud.
