On Friday, January 16, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the McDonough Auditorium, Marietta College students who visited Montgomery, Alabama during the fall break in 2025 to learn about the history of Black slavery in the U.S. and various civil rights leaders. On MLK day 2026, they will share powerful stories from their trip and what they learned from the experience to honor the legacy and life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event is free and open to the public.
