PioNation, the OAC Tournament Championship is on the line for the women's basketball team. At 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, the Pioneers will take on Ohio Northern at Fenton Court. These two talented teams each won on their home courts during the regular season.

No. 2 seed Marietta (21-5) advanced to the title game by dismantling Capital 91-43 Thursday. The Pioneers were led by guard Paige Tolson, who made four 3-point baskets and finished with a game-best 22 points. Olivia Gribble also made four 3-pointers while scoring 18 points — eclipsing 1,000 points for her career.

The fourth-seed Polar Bears (17-9) upset top-seed Baldwin Wallace 57-43 on Thursday to advance to the championship game. Brynn Serbin scored a game-high 22 points to lead ONU to the win.

We hope to see our students, faculty, and staff in the BanJo seats rooting on our Pioneers to the program's second OAC Tournament Championship. If you can't join us in person, be sure to tune into the livestream and cheer on your Pios from wherever you are. Let's get fired up Pio Nation! It's time win a championship.
