Learning Spanish and about the cultural manifestations of the Spanish-speaking world broadens our students’ worldview and makes them better-informed global citizens. A minor in Latin American Studies enhances any degree, as knowledge of a second language gives graduates a head start in the job market. There are many reasons why our students are encouraged to learn Spanish at Marietta College.
