Less than a week after bidding farewell to the Class of 2021, Marietta College will turn its attention to recognizing employees who have reached a milestone in service, as well as four individuals who are retiring.
Less than 72 hours after bidding farewell to the Class of 2019, Marietta College will turn its attention to recognizing employees who have reached a milestone in service, as well as two who are retiring.
Marietta College employees are invited to attend the annual Opening Convocation on Thursday, August 15th, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. A continental breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m., and the program begins at 9:30 a.m. Employees will hear from President Ruud and other members of the senior leadership.
The annual Employee Service Awards and Retirement Recognition Ceremony is at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, in the Hermann Fine Arts Foyer. Employees are recognized for milestone years of service — starting at five years and continuing in five-year increments.
Early May at Marietta College is always a time of celebration.
On Sunday, May 6, the College will bid farewell to the Class of 2018, and on Wednesday, May 9, the festivities will continue with the Employee Service Award and Retirement Recognition Ceremony at 11 a.m. in the Hermann Fine Arts Foyer.
The annual Employee Service Award Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 6th, in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. A total of 48 employees will be recognized for their years of continuous full-time service to the College, and four will be recognized as they retire.
