"My experience has been even better than I expected. I have become a stronger leader, a better communicator and have been involved in so many different clubs, organizations and activities. I have completely come out of my shell at Marietta College. Freshman year I was shy and scared to talk to people or get involved. Now I am confident and have friends all across campus."
November: Giving Thanks
As Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I have been thinking about what I am thankful for specifically at Marietta College.
One of the things that I am most thankful for is the fact that we have faculty and staff who truly value student growth, learning and experience. In addition, I am thankful that I have a huge community of support from alumni and the MC family. Sharing your experiences, coming back to talk to classes, hiring interns and especially your financial support make a huge difference.
I want to know what you are thankful for. Be sure to send me an email!

Homecoming weekend was so much fun this year and I got to meet so many wonderful people. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to speak with members of the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Association as well as many other alumni whom I got to meet.
I was honored to be a Homecoming Candidate for the Chi Omega Sorority this year and although I was not crowned queen, we did win the competitions for the third year in a row.
Click on my video to watch a couple of conversations I had with alumni on campus. I hope that if you did not make it back for Homecoming this year, you can find another time to visit. We love hearing your stories, too!

September: What's it like coming back?
It is week four at Marietta College and I can hardly believe I am this far into my senior year.
This year has a lot in store for me in terms of academics, career preparation and lots of fun! I am trying to soak up every minute of my senior year before I have to move into the real world. There are a lot of fun events in store this semester including Homecoming and Music Fest and I am excited to make the most of all of these.
I do have a question for all of you though: What advice do you have for me as I continue with my senior year and move into life after college? I look forward to hearing from all of you and will keep you updated about things happening here at the College!

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Toppin and I am a senior majoring in Psychology and International Leadership Studies. Marietta College has provided me with opportunities for personal growth and development that I would not have experienced anywhere else. I am so excited to share my experiences this year with all of our alumni and cannot wait to connect and share stories with all of you!
