What You’ll Learn While Studying Marketing
Creative, business-minded, competitive — those are the traits that make for great marketing professionals. Marietta College’s Marketing program prepares students for success in this dynamic and growing industry by blending business and marketing coursework with hands-on experiential learning opportunities. This program prepares students for a broad range of careers in corporate marketing and sales, product and brand management, marketing communications, consumer insights research, digital/social media management, pricing analyst, event coordination and management, and as content specialists.
Through our chapter of the American Marketing Association, you will enjoy many benefits, from career resources, chapter events, leadership development, and attendance at national and regional conferences. You can also compete for up to $10,000 to support your new for-profit business venture in our PioBiz Competition.
At Marietta College, most of our faculty have lived or taught overseas and bring an international perspective. Learning extends beyond the classroom as you engage in problem-solving for local business clients and participate in exciting internships. Students have interned with Disney World, Chase Bank, Dallas Cowboys, Discover, and sites across the United States and in other countries.
Students interested in further graduate study will find they have the course requirements and faculty support necessary to pursue an MBA or other master's degree options.
